Welcome to Roseneath Glass.

 

My mission is simply to create while working towards mastering the art of stained glass. 

Each of my pieces are designed and hand made by me at my studio in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Each are unique.

I first learned both tiffany and lead window techniques in high school and later re-introduced myself through classes in Ottawa.  Five moves, one dog, one husband, two kids and a decade later, I had the space, bought someone's second hand kit and started up again. I work on glass most days.

My influences are traditional classic and gothic cathedral, art deco, modernism, 80s design, arts and crafts and anything else that inspires me. I am inspired by the modern revival of stained glass art and the maker movement. I do not copy other's work and patterns, nor do I allow my patterns to be reproduced by others.

I've been a maker my whole life and have a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec where I studied photography and video art as well as collaborative multimedia, painting and sculpture. I also really enjoy embroidery and weaving and whatever craft I am doing to entertain my kids.

​

I LOVE collaboration. If you are interested on commissioning an idea please reach out! I work closely with clients through the design phase and really enjoy helping clients develop their ideas for the perfect piece.
